As a professor of Physical Therapy at Pennsylvania State University for 32 years, Dr. Petrilla has honed her abilities to teach and understand the root cause behind chronic disease.
Educated
Dr. Petrilla earned her Master's and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and Temple University, respectively.
Passionate
Driven by her own battle with prediabetes, obesity, and a family history of chronic disease, she pursued further education to become a Primal Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Now, she’s dedicated to helping others achieve their health goals and transform their lives.

Dr. Petrilla concentrates on discovering a person’s carbohydrate threshold, which is crucial in aiding them in achieving optimal health.
She promotes a low-carbohydrate lifestyle that is both sustainable and enjoyable. Rose adopted a low-carb/ketogenic lifestyle, which helped her reverse insulin resistance and prediabetes. She prioritizes “fat” loss over “weight” loss and avoids muscle loss to achieve optimal health and longevity.
